Bear Valley Rescue: About the Bartleys



This rescue is dedicated to my dad, Louis Kelemen Sr.  From humble beginnings as a penniless Hungarian
immigrant in 1957, through his hard work and success as a businessman; with the support of my mother,
Charlotte; and his subsequent generosity, this rescue has become a dream come true.  Through this
rescue he has influenced the lives of many people (and horses!) in ways he doesen't even know about.
I'd also like to thank Mike, I'm sure he never thought he'd be dedicating his life to a big herd of
horses.  Anyone out there thinking of starting a support group for husbands of horse-crazy wives, I'm
sure he'd be an avid member, though he's got the 'bug' worse than I do, now!
